1. Arrival Date: Thursday, January 15th, 2024

Destination Airport: Kotoka International Airport (ACC), Accra, Ghana

The average round-trip flight cost to Accra typically ranges from $1,200 to $1,500. We recommend Delta Airlines, British Airways, Emirates, and KLM, as they offer direct routes and reliable service. Direct flights are available from major international hubs like New York (JFK), London (Heathrow), and Dubai (DXB). For the best flight deals, consider using Skyscanner, Google Flights, or checking Kotoka International Airport’s website.

2. Passport & Visa Requirements

Passport: Make sure your passport will be valid through January 2026. Prepare for renewal if necessary.

Visa: A visa is required for entry to Ghana. The application fee is $60, with processing typically taking 15-20 days. Apply close to your travel dates, as the visa is valid for 3 months. Click the link below.

3. Health Requirements

Mandatory: Proof of Yellow Fever vaccination is required for entry into Ghana.

Recommended but not Mandatory: For added health protection, consider vaccinations for Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, and Meningitis. Consult with your healthcare provider about anti-malaria medication as well.

4. Arriving in Accra

Upon arrival, we’ll have transportation options ready to take you from Kotoka International Airport to your accommodations and wedding venues. Check back soon for full details on booking your travel and making your way to Ghana with ease!

Transportation will be arranged via a private wedding shuttle, ensuring a seamless transition upon your arrival in Ghana. Prior to your travel date, we’ll reach out to gather your flight details, and our dedicated shuttle service will be there to greet you at the airport. The shuttle will take you directly to the designated Airbnb accommodations for our wedding guests, offering comfort, privacy, and peace of mind.

Please note that the cost of this ground transportation service will be announced closer to the wedding date. Our goal is to ensure you feel well-cared for and arrive relaxed, ready to enjoy an unforgettable celebration together.
